Children, Nature & Spirituality

Leona Johnson Hebden Bridge

Rediscovering the Magic of the Natural World

A Two Day Course in Hebden Bridge (non residential)

10th and 11th February

In a time where digital screens often eclipse green scenes, “Children, Nature, and Spirituality” offers a refreshing return to the roots of our innate connection with the world around us. This course is crafted for those who, while not deeply immersed in spirituality, hold a profound appreciation for the beauty and lessons of nature. It’s perfect for educators, therapists, parents, and caregivers who wish to infuse a sense of wonder and natural magic into the lives of children.

As a former social worker, therapist, and parent, I bring decades of experience in reconnecting with the enchantment of the natural world—a journey I’m passionate about sharing. This course is not about abstract spiritual concepts but about tangible, joyful interactions with nature that awaken a child’s innate curiosity and connection.

We’ll delve into the exploration of the four elements—earth, water, air, and fire—and discover how they can be powerful tools in nurturing a child’s growth and understanding of the world. Each element offers unique lessons and experiences, bringing a balanced perspective on nature’s cycles and energies.

Additionally, we’ll celebrate the rhythm of the seasons, embracing seasonal celebrations that ground us in the present moment and the ever-changing beauty of the natural world. These celebrations are opportunities to connect with nature’s rhythms, offering rich, sensory experiences that are both educational and deeply fulfilling.

“Children, Nature, and Spirituality” is more than just a course; it’s a journey towards a deeper, more meaningful connection with nature and our children. It’s about creating a legacy of respect and love for the natural world, one that our children can carry forward into their lives and the lives of future generations.

Join us on this transformative journey, and take back to your life and work not only a deep sense of nourishment and inspiration but also practical, engaging tools to foster a lifelong connection between children and the magic of the natural world.
