Thanks to everyone who came and supported our Sustainable Celebration.  We had a  really lovely festive morning, with music, fire, mulled apple juice, wood craft and lots of wonderful people!   Special thanks to  volunteers who gave their time to make it possible.

We had some lovely feedback from a parent about their children’s day on Holiday Club. We’re so glad they enjoyed it!

‘Didn’t know the best place to post, but just wanted to let you know that the boys had brilliant day in the woods on Wednesday. Despite looking utterly miserable when I dropped them off they were returned to me muddy, full of stories and very happy. Since then, they’ve regaled everyone with tales of making jaffa cakes with jelly ear mushrooms, making ink and quills, playing games and hanging out in the hammock. Brilliant stuff, thank you so much’ – Parent 

Hail wind and mud but being survivors and making nettle and wild garlic pesto kept everyone warm!

Another brilliant day in Knott Wood, we made feather quills to write with explored in the woods and caves and learnt how to whittle roasting sticks to  cook our foraged snacks over the fire!

Thanks to everyone for coming on our Wild Valentine’s Day.  Crisp Spring day and perfect for a fire and some smokey wild garlic chapatis. A unique Valentines adventure and a change from cards and chocolates these brave couples learnt some axe and whittling skills, foraged for their meal together and spent time connecting with the animals and other wildlife of the woodlands. A day to remember!
