Learn how to identify seasonal edible plants and cook up tasty wild treats over a campfire. The day will involve harvesting and preparing foraged plants, as well as learning about plant folklore and their nutritional and medicinal benefits. We will also be exploring the uses of several plants for bushcraft purposes such as fire lighting.
At lunch time we will together cook up a range of dishes to share, with an opportunity to take samples home. Expect a feast!
The cost for the day is £55 EARLY BIRD offer or £60. Handouts, lunch, hot drinks and snacks all included, with vegan and gluten free options available.
You will be guided through the day by Live Wild’s Leonie Morris – qualified Bushcraft Instructor & Wild Food Teacher and Miranda Cowan – Ecologist & Environmental Tutor. The seasonal abundance and beauty of the woodland, wetland and hedgerow habitats surrounding our camp will the perfect way to unwind, nourish and connect with your wild side!
